Nylon's naturally soft, smooth texture combined with its cooling properties makes the Elemental Layer Cool the lightest and most comfortable layer in the series. It's ultra-thin, almost featherweight against your skin, so you barely notice it's there.
Odor control that lasts
Durable water repellency keeps body oils from building up in the fabric, and combined with an antimicrobial finish, it achieves an odor-inhibiting rate of 99.9% or higher (antimicrobial activity value: 5.6). Even on long, sweaty days, it keeps odor well under control.
Behind the Design: Nylon Fiber x Ultra-thin Mesh
To create a comfortable summer Elemental Layer, two things were non-negotiable: ultra-thin fabric and genuine cooling performance. Nylon was the clear choice. Tough, abrasion-resistant, and naturally cooling, it was the first time Finetrack had used nylon in an Elemental Layer. The result is a layer approximately 20% thinner than the Elemental Layer Basic, with a Clo value about 50% lower, meaning significantly less heat buildup. Cool, dry, and comfortable from the first step to the last.
