At 115 g, you'll hardly know it's there
Made from an ultra-thin 15-denier stretch nylon ripstop with a microporous thin-film coating, it breathes, resists water and stretches, all at 115 g (Men's M).
Protection from drizzle and dripping rock
Strong water repellency and a 700 mm hydrostatic head* keep drizzle and dripping rock from chilling you. The fabric is also slightly breathable, so it keeps you from feeling clammy when you're working hard.
*Designed to shed light rain and splashes. For sustained downpours, pair it with a waterproof shell.
Stretch that moves with you through the crux
With up to 132% widthwise stretch and a pattern cut for reaching overhead, the fabric moves with you instead of pulling against you.
Rack it, wear it, and never drop it
The hoodie packs into its own pocket (inside the right hip) and racks on your harness with a carabiner. Pull it out, wear it and stow it without ever unclipping, so it never ends up at the bottom of the wall.
A hood that goes over your helmet
The hood fits straight over your helmet and cinches with a cord stopper. It won't pull when you turn your head, so your view stays clear.
Vent fast, without the flapping
A snap tab holds the front zipper open for airflow without flapping, so you can vent on the move instead of stopping to change layers.
A chest pocket that stays clear of your pack
The zippered chest pocket sits clear of your backpack straps, keeping small essentials within reach.
A hem that stays put under your harness
The shirred hem* won't ride up when you reach high or snag on your harness.
