Overview
A wind shell built to keep up with technical climbs.
Built for alpine climbing and scrambling. Highly stretchable fabric and a pattern built for overhead reach keep stress low during big moves on rock or steep ascents. Water-repellent, minimally air-permeable fabric blocks wind while letting moisture escape.
Stretch and pattern that don't hold you back
Despite being a wind shell, it delivers 132% crosswise stretch that moves supplely with your body during activity. An underarm and body pattern that resists riding up during big overhead reaches keeps you moving freely on climbing terrain, rock and chain sections, and steep ascents.
※Stretch per JIS L 1096 B-1.
Blocks wind, yet prevents moisture buildup and condensation
Minimally air-permeable fabric blocks wind while letting moisture trapped inside escape. It cuts moisture buildup during activity, reducing condensation to roughly 1/5* compared with a typical wind shell. Comfort holds up even during sweat-inducing climbs or in conditions where deciding whether to layer up or down is tough.
※Per our internal condensation comparison test.
Packable, ready whenever you need it
Lightweight and compact enough to pack away. A loop lets you clip it to a harness or belt loop and put it on or take it off without detaching it, so you can pull it out fast on exposed ridgelines or when weather turns.
A new kind of comfort, not just wind protection
Made from 15-denier stretch nylon ripstop. A microporous membrane coating technology delivers ultralight weight, stretch, minimal air permeability, and moderate water pressure resistance all at once. It keeps the stretch and breathability that typical ultralight wind shells tend to sacrifice, while still holding up against light rain.
Construction / Details
The hood, hem, and pocket placement are all designed around wearing a helmet and climbing harness. The helmet-compatible hood has a cord stopper for easy fit adjustment, and the hem uses a shirring design that stays out of the way when wearing a harness. A snap-button tab connects the two sides of the open front zipper so the garment doesn't flap when worn open for airflow, turning the front zipper into a wide-open ventilation option. The chest pocket avoids interference with a backpack's hip belt and makes it easy to reach small items during activity.

Care Instructions
-This product is not rainwear and is not designed for prolonged or heavy rain.
-Windproofing, water repellency, and breathability will change with use and over time.
-Contact or snagging on rock edges, branches, hook-and-loop fasteners, and similar can damage the fabric.
-Strong friction or pulling can shift the fabric's warp and weft threads, creating gaps or unevenness in the weave (known as "yarn slippage" or "grin-through").
-When washing, follow the care label attached to the product.
