Built for winter activity, this L4 Mid Shell® pant blocks snow and cold wind while letting built-up moisture escape as you move. Everbreath® Air, a membrane engineered specifically for Mid Shell® use, pairs with generous stretch to balance windproofing, breathability, and mobility through the coldest months. It's designed to work as the inner half of finetrack's Double Shell® system, combined with L5 Outer Shell pants. For the Fall 2026 renewal, we've further refined the fit for that pairing, making the piece lighter and more comfortable to wear.
An inner layer, or worn alone
Built primarily as an inner layer to boost the warmth and windproofing of your outer shell pants. No buttons or buckles at the waist, no zippers on the hand pockets, just a simple design made to layer easily. At camp or in a hut, shed the outer layer and wear it on its own. With solid water resistance and windproofing, it can also stand alone in milder conditions or high winds. Supple stretch, thin, and light, it performs well whether layered or worn solo.

Winter demands you block the weather from outside while letting the moisture building up inside escape. Flow Wrap® Pants deliver both, windproofing and true breathability in one layer, cutting moisture and condensation buildup even in the harshest conditions.

The membrane at the core of this piece, Everbreath® Air, is purpose-built for Mid Shell® use. It blocks cold wind while letting trapped moisture escape, keeping overheating in check. Water repellency on both the face fabric and the liner knit prevents the water film that saturated fabric would otherwise trap, protecting breathability over the long haul. That performance holds up through long days and full winter layering, moving moisture out instead of trapping it.
