Finetrack®'s Mid Layer series drops to 10% moisture content significantly faster than other Mid Layers with comparable warmth retention. Finetrack® researchers devised a method of artificially creating a resting state from a state of perspiration immediately after exercise, and measured humidity over time between a heating plate that mimics skin and the Mid Layer fabric. The initial humidity in the garment was adjusted to 53%, and the humidity regulation was graphed to reflect the transition from sweaty exertion to a resting state.Results demonstrated that the POLYGON 2UL Mid Layer rapidly declined from a high-humidity state to the initial in-clothing humidity baseline, approximately 30 minutes faster than a typical down jacket.
