Overview
A new concept in high-performance outdoor wear, the Ramie Spin Knit Shirt pursues comfort that allows you to "keep on trucking", both in the mountains and in town.

Instead of using woven fabric, which is commonly used for shirts, we have developed a special knit fabric to achieve both high breathability and ease of movement. This knit fabric, a hybrid of Ramie Spin yarn and a special polyester, boasts long-lasting perspiration absorption and quick-drying properties comparable to those of a traditional fast-wick base layer.

Our Ramie Spin shirt line-up also pursues ease of use and lightness for outdoor activities, with cuffs that are easy to roll up, lightweight snap buttons that are easy to operate with one hand, and pockets with zippers that provide excellent storage capacity. In addition to high-performance functionality, the simple design pursues the beauty of elegant tailoring. From spring to fall, these high-performance mountain shirts can be worn over a base layer (T-shirt) or Elemental Layer, depending on climate, weather, and situation -- from trekking in the mountains to walking around town after your descent.

*The Ramie Spin Knit Shirt utilizes a delicate knit fabric to achieve an optimal balance between lightness and functionality. Repeated friction, catching hook-and-loop fasteners, branches, or contact with hard objects may damage the fabric. In addition, knit fabrics are prone to shrinkage with repeated use and washing. Tumble-drying, in particular, may cause significant shrinkage and should be avoided at all costs.

After 0.6ml of water was applied, the residual moisture weight was measured over time, with the time it took to drop below 10% as benchmark. Finetrack®'s Mid Layer series drops to 10% moisture content significantly faster than other Mid Layers with comparable warmth retention. In the wearer, this contributes to a dry feeling that lasts longer while reducing the chill that comes from moisture accumulation.

Finetrack® researchers devised a method of artificially creating a resting state from a state of perspiration immediately after exercise, and measured humidity over time between a heating plate that mimics skin and the Mid Layer fabric. The initial humidity in the garment was adjusted to 53%, and the humidity regulation was graphed to reflect the transition from sweaty exertion to a resting state.Results demonstrated that the POLYGON 2UL Mid Layer rapidly declined from a high-humidity state to the initial in-clothing humidity baseline, approximately 30 minutes faster than a typical down jacket.
