The abrasion-resistant fabric is suitable for use in harsh environments such as rugged ridge zones and for various mountaineering and climbing activities.
In addition the fabric's durability, a special treatment enables long retention of its high moisture processing performance even after 100 washes, ensuring not only toughness but longevity.
With a round half-stand coller and a design that makes the best use of the medium-thickness fabric, we aimed to craft a versatile mid-layer ideal for a wide variety of outdoor activites.

Finetrack® researchers devised a method of artificially creating a resting state from a state of perspiration immediately after exercise, and measured humidity over time between a heating plate that mimics skin and the Mid Layer fabric. The initial humidity in the garment was adjusted to 53%, and the humidity regulation was graphed to reflect the transition from sweaty exertion to a resting state.Results demonstrated that the POLYGON 2UL Mid Layer rapidly declined from a high-humidity state to the initial in-clothing humidity baseline, approximately 30 minutes faster than a typical down jacket.
